Dear mommy, you rock! Because whatever you undertake, you’re the best!

In this mommy blog we present ideas, inspiration and information.  We believe that while being a mom, it is important for a woman to maintain her own self, to be a distinguished person with her own interests and viewpoints.

We, Maia and Verena, write here about everything we like to do, what fills our lives and sparks us to keep going. We are passionate moms who love and care for our children, but also take time to enjoy and nurture ourselves. Travel, fun and work, enjoyment of life, yoga and meditation, fitness and good food, motivation and creativity – all can be found here! We provide inspiration for stress relief in everyday life, but also give ideas for recreation, fun and activities together with the family. We offer suggestions to help you find your own inner self and keep your peace of mind.

For all of us it is important to ascend new peaks and reach new goals. Mami Rocks in no way will encourage our readers to be a Super Mom. Doing that can be at times harmful to the immediate family members, and particularly to the Super-Mom-to-be herself.

We tell quite a lot of stories, but by no means only about us.  Mommy Rocks only flourishes through you, dear reader! We look forward to interviews with women from around the world and stories from you and about you! This mainly affects the categories Expat Life and Business, in which we provide reconciliation of work and family issues in a series of blog posts Work Family Balance: Tell Your Story. We are hoping for a lot of responses and photos from you to the questions suggested in that post!

We want to hear how you jiggle the tough job of being a mother and an accomplished professional. Or tell us about your family life in another country.
